ABOUT US

Who We Are

About Us

Unity Council USA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to documenting and disseminating credible, verifiable information about the systemic discrimination, persecution, and atrocities faced by Bangladesh’s religious and ethnic minority communities, specifically Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, animists, Baul mystics, and Indigenous peoples.

Our mission is to bring these human rights violations to the attention of international organizations such as the United Nations, global human rights bodies, media outlets, and the governments and policymakers of nations—including Bangladesh—who have the power to end this unacceptable, inhumane, and deliberate campaign of religious and ethnic cleansing and the prevailing culture of impunity in Bangladesh. We strive to amplify the voices of Bangladesh’s oppressed minorities and to champion their fundamental right to live with dignity and security in their ancestral homeland.

Unity Council USA is a politically non-aligned organization that does not engage in lobbying. It is funded solely through membership fees and small individual contributions from those who support our mission, principles, and values.

What We Do?

Service Features

Investigate

Our researchers gather firsthand testimonies from victims and eyewitnesses, cross-verify media reports through trusted human rights partners on the ground and compile these findings into documented records—ensuring that the international community receives an accurate, impartial account of this ongoing campaign of violence against Bangladesh’s religious and ethnic minorities.

Service Features

Expose

We share verified information via memoranda, newsletters, social media, online platforms, and directly with officials, journalists, and compassionate individuals who believe that all people are entitled to the same basic rights, as well as safety and protection of their life and property.

Service Features

Advocate for Change

We advance our mission by engaging with the United Nations, government officials, and policymakers, including those in Bangladesh, to urge an end to the deeply rooted culture of religious and ethnic cleansing and the prevailing culture of impunity in Bangladesh. We advocate for the adoption of a comprehensive Minority Protection Act that would equip the government with effective tools to address the widespread atrocities targeting religious and ethnic minorities and serve as a strong deterrent against future sectarian violence.

Service Features

Provide Relief

We offer direct assistance to victims of persecution by providing food, shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation support—subject to the availability of funds.

The Survivors

Struggling to hold on to their heritage and humanity, Bangladesh’s remaining religious and ethnic minorities wonder how much longer they can survive.

Life at Stake

Their very existence is under threat. Centuries-old communities of Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians in Bangladesh now face the risk of extinction through persecution and displacement.

Challenge Takers

Courageous voices from Bangladesh are still rising—pleading for help, justice, and the world’s attention before it’s too late.
